Day 121: Stray Animal

June 28, 2018 by Vanessa Young in The Writing

Think of the life of a random cat or dog and write about that.

freedom! hop hop hop around the floor
walk? my human asks
yes! outside!
tap tap tap paws on the sidewalk
grass? where's grass? i pee in grass!

Yeah basically that's what I imagine the life of a puppy would be like. Perpetually confused but insanely happy about it. Every day is a new day, a new challenge, a new thing to chew on or rip apart. It's new because puppies have no object permanence.

Yes, you clicked on a pointless blog. Bye!
