Day 112: Rushing
Write about moving quickly and doing things fast.
Impatience is not my best virtue. I am one of the most impatient people in the world. When I decide on a course of action I want it done NOW NOW NOW.
This is the MOST prevalent when I'm driving. Everyone who knows me knows that I HATE driving. It's the worst thing imaginable. Listen, if I could drive in my own private, separate lane and never have to deal with dumb people going slow and generally being shitty drivers, I'd love driving! But that's not the case. I am guilty of speeding (and getting caught) more than I should. I just want to get to my destination and be done with this ordeal!
The rushing is even worse when I'm bored. If we're out somewhere and I am over it, I try push us along to a new place. It can be annoying. I get a tone in my voice that even I can hear and I can tell my friends want me to chill the fuck out.
If you see me walking near you, do not get in my way. These tiny, chunky little legs move FAST. I will weave my way through a crowd so quick the only thing you'll see is the blur of whatever weird color I have in my hair that day. This is partially why festivals and carnivals aren't my fave; so many fucking people just milling around, usually RIGHT WHERE PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSED TO WALK. Don't even get me started on people who stop and stand in the middle of the sidewalk to chit chat. SIDEWALKS ARE FOR WALKING NOT CONGREGATING.
....
What was I saying?
Oh yeah, I'm impatient, sometimes incredibly rude, person.
