Day 99: Seasonal
Write about your favorite season.
It's hard to live in Columbus, Ohio for ten years and not say "fall" when someone asks what your favorite season is.
Autumn is the season of leaves changing colors from that brilliant green to those reds, oranges and yellows that define that time of year. Autumn is sweater and shorts weather, which is my favorite combination of tops and bottoms.
My legs are my BEST feature so the longer I can wear the shorts, the better. But I prefer hoodies and sweaters to t-shirts and tank tops so autumn is where my personal style shines the most.
Autumn is
O
H
I
O
Yes.
Ohio State football is the frosting on top of autumn. With college football on, day drinking (the best kind of drinking) is at an all-time high. It's a time when older people get to indulge in bad, college-like behavior and the youths (YOUTHS) are living their best life. We all come together in happiness and competitiveness and fuck. shit. up.
I love the fall. It's been my favorite season since I moved to Columbus. Prior to that, I loved summer because that meant NO school when I was still in high school.
We're moving to Henderson, Nevada in three weeks and things are going to drastically change. Fall will still mean a lot to me but it won't be the same.
