Day 58: Darkness
Write a poem or journal entry inspired by what you can’t see
Each day I close my eyes,
listening to the sound of a soothing man's
voice.
He's telling me to breathe in through my nose
and breathe out through my mouth.
He tells me to feel the weight
of my body.
I let my lungs expand and my mind
wander.
In the darkness beneath my eyelids,
I think of floating in the ocean,
the waves licking my upturned feet.
In the darkness, I feel serenity and comfort
in my imagination.
