Where peace and the sky touch, a drive through the Valley of Fire

I don’t know about y’all but when the music is turned up to 11, windows are down, the sun is shining and you’re feeling happy and hazy while nature is preening around you…there’s something otherworldly and magical about that.

We decided one Saturday to take our fur baby out and about to get her (and us) some fresh air. The weather in Vegas was FINALLY above 55 degrees so why not take advantage, right?

It was more majestic than I had anticipated. Photos don’t really do it much justice but I tried. Unfortunately, hubby forgot our dog’s leash so we had to enjoy the view mostly from the car but I hopped out a few times for a “cute” pic or two.
