Day 171: Acrostic

October 18, 2018 by Vanessa Young in The Writing

Choose a word and write an acrostic poem where every line starts with a letter from the word.

Hero of my heart, champion of the people, never worries about what people think of him
Understanding everything about what I go through is always a priority
Sweet natured and quiet until you get to know the man inside
Better half of me, though he’d call me HIS better half
Another city, another place, it doesn’t matter where we are when we have each other
Never gives up on me, even after I’ve given up on myself
Death may try to separate us, but we’ll put up a fight.
