Day 156: Style Staples

Photo taken by Mike Young, hubby extraordinaire.

Write about your favorite pieces of clothing in your closet.

Okay so here's the thing: I fucking love clothes. Anyone who knows me knows this. I'm going to highlight some of fave pieces that I'm fucking obsessed with PLUS links to them so you can buy them (if i can find the links...I'm a lazy bitch). Full disclosure: I joined Amazon Associates because I shop on Amazon so damn much and it was about time I try to make a buck or two from it.

Let's get it.

Linen Wide Leg Suspender Pants aka My Boy Pants

These are the comfiest pants I have ever worn in my entire life. Seriously. They're airy, light and give my thick thighs the flexibility they so rightly earned.

My only issue with these pants (jumpsuit-ish?) is that the straps are NOT adjustable so I had to tighten them up a little with a knot. I'm 5 feet tall so short girls, take note!

Mirrored Classic Sunglasses aka My OG Sunnies

I actually JUST got these sunnies a month or so ago but they're already my faves. This particular pair came from Sunglass Spot and they're only FIVE DAMN DOLLARS. AND you can get them almost anyway you want. I, of course, went for the understated black frame with rose gold lenses.

I've been wearing these nonstop, fully neglecting my other amazing sunnies and I just need to stop and apologize to them. But honestly, there's a new Queen in town and I have zero regrets.

Camo Sweatpants/Joggers aka My Army Bottoms

I never ever ever thought I'd own camo things after the year 2004 but alas here we are. So I bought these particular pants because of an outfit idea I had that I executed excellently for San Diego Comic Con in July.

The pants were a HUGE HIT...for me in particular. They're a thinner material than normal sweatpants because they're cheap however that actually worked to my advantage because I had to wait outside in 80 degrees in these pants. Comfy and cute which is what I'm all about.

Lace Up Boots aka My Thigh High Combat Boots

Oh the thigh high black boot *swoon* I've talked at length about how many different pairs of black boots I own. These are a pair of my absolute faves from UrbanOG, a weirdly cheap place to get a lot of awesome clothes. They're basically over the knee combat boots which is my ENTIRE AESTHETIC.

Hi, hello, I am your not-so-friendly neighborhood witch and I'm telling you that lace up flat boots are essential to your fall/winter outfit needs. You can run in them, you can jump in them, you can cast spells and ride around on your broom in them. Versatile!
